We are making great progress in our Middle East cities with outdoor public infrastructure and improved connectivity.
The civic realm comes alive when people can walk and cycle across it. The integrated nature of the 15-minute city drives social interaction and economic activation.
We know that it’s possible, through good design, to naturally cool the environment by 5-7 degrees Celsius.
Let’s lower the temperature by delivering purpose-built shade structures along corridors and connection routes.
These structures can connect points in a city via parks, or they can run in landscape “buffer zones” adjacent to city streets.
We strongly believe that development should be regenerative – improving outcomes for both the environment and for people.
