Integrating photovoltaics and solar arrays

Looking beyond sustainable design, nicholas always strives to make buildings which contribute positively to the biosphere. This means not simply “keeping things as they are” – which “sustainability” implies – but making a real difference.

Photovoltaic solar arrays are straightforward to install on the roofs of buildings and work well with the Middle East’s climate – generating power from the sun. They can also be integrated with façade systems.

We advocate for solar arrays both in new-build projects and in refurbishments as they can significantly reduce energy bills by allowing the project to generate its own power and supply electricity back to the grid.

We strongly believe that development should be regenerative – improving outcomes for both the environment and for people.
